GAME FARMING
Stonehaven prides itself in the growth of its animal populations. In the past eight years we have fenced in 1300ha of the farm and reintroduced several species of animals that were indigenous to these mountains.
ACCOMODATION
The farm house has five spacious rooms and three bathrooms, accommodating 13 people in total. A fully equipped kitchen, including refrigerator, freezer, stove, microwave and kettle and a cupboard with all the necessary cutlery and crockery. Braai facilities with enough braai wood and a large stoep make for comfortable area to unwind.
HUNTING
Hunters are welcome year-round on Stonehaven farm. We cater for international trophy and local meat hunting.

Hunters usually book two to three days of self-catering accommodation in the farmhouse. Hunting schedules are flexible, but usually start at first light with a siesta from 11:00 to 14:00, commencing from 14:00 to dusk.
Hunters will always be accompanied in the veldt by either a professional hunter or guide. We cater for walk-and-stalk, hide or bakkie hunting.

The smallest caliber that a hunter is allowed to use is a 6mm for small game and a 6.5mm for large game. Alcohol is not allowed in the veldt. Wounded animals to be paid in full.
SLAUGHTERING
Slaughtering facilities are available on the farm with trained professionals to do skinning of animals at an additional cost. The facility includes two cold storage rooms with space for up to ten large game animals.
